A Winter Weather Advisory that includes Putnam, Dutchess and Orange counties, will be in effect from Friday afternoon to Saturday morning.

During that time, freezing rain likely, resulting in difficult travel conditions, including for the Friday evening commute.

Total ice accumulation of a few hundredths up to one-tenth of an inch is expected in Putnam and Orange. Parts of Dutchess could also see 1 to 2 inches of snowfall accumulation.
