The district has been without a superintendent since Barbara Walkley resigned in January after serving just a year, the fifth administrator to step down in the past decade, according to phillipstown.info.

Walkley’s tenure was filled with controversial moves and accusations of impropriety and Beacon parents have asked the board for more transparency, reports phillipstown.info.
