DUTCHESS COUNTY, N.Y. - State Police in Dutchess County arrested a Wappingers Falls man on Monday after he allegedly attempted to steal more than $1,000 in equipment from a Home Depot in Poughkeepsie.
On Monday, plain-clothed investigators with the state police were in the parking lot of the Home Depot on North Road when they spotted 40-year-old Ryan McNamee enter the location. Minutes later, the investigators reported that McNamee was seen exiting the store, running toward a vehicle with a shopping cart full of three chainsaws and a leaf blower.
