Nathaniel White is being held without bail at the Dutchess County Jail on first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, a felony, and felony DWI. It is felony DWI because police discovered three previous DWI-related convictions in the last 10 years, police said.

Troopers said White also had his driving privileges revoked because of the prior DWI convictions. He was scheduled to appear in Wappinger Town Court on Wednesday.

New York State Police were called Sunday, July 31, to a hit-and-run accident, police said. The caller told police that her car was hit from behind by a southbound car, police said.

Troopers found the empty car and a second police unit found the driver walking on the road. Police said he was intoxicated.
