Police said the robbery took place at 9:27 a.m. Thursday when the man walked into the bank at 1850 South Road and demanded money by passing a note to a teller, said Capt. Kevin Faber.

The man indicated he had a gun but did not display one, he added.

The suspect, described as a white male between 20-30 years old, with a medium build, 5-foot-8 or 5-foot-9, with blond or brown facial hair, fled the bank on foot and entered a dark-colored, late-model Acura, said Faber.

Police said he was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, dark sweatpants with red lettering or an emblem vertically on the outer seam of the right leg, a black hat, and white sneakers.
