POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. -- A Poughkeepsie man has been charged with endangering the welfare of an incompetent person and harassment following an investigation by the New York State Police.

According to state police, Eric Kellerhouse, 37, was charged following a complaint from a resident at the TaconicĀ Developmental Disabilities Organization Riverview IRA in Amenia, that claimed Kellerhouse had struck him several times after he refused to follow orders, state police said.

Kellerhouse was issued an appearance ticket to appear in the Town of Amenia Court on Aug. 15.
