POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. -- Town of Poughkeepsie police are asking the public for help with information regarding a bank robbery at the Citizens Bank on Wednesday.

The robbery took place at 1:17 p.m. at the bank on Vassar Road in Red Oaks Mill, police said.

Officers are currently on the scene interviewing witnesses and searching the area with K-9 officers, police added.

Anyone with information, or who may have witnessed the robbery are asked to call the Town of Poughkeepsie Police Department Detective Division at 845-485-3670.
