LA GRANGE, N. Y. -- A 23-year-old Poughkeepsie man is facing drug charges after New York State Police stopped the car he was riding in Wednesday in LaGrange on a license plate violation and found marijuana and hydrocodone, police said.
Anthony M. Okie, 23, is charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor, and unlawful possession, a violation, police said.
He was released on appearance tickets to return to Town of LaGrange Justice Court on Sept. 20, police said.
Troopers stopped the car on Noxon Road and then determined that the passenger had the drugs, police said.
