Richard M. Martini, 47, of Hyde Park, was charged with burglary, criminal mischief, and petit larceny, after police responded Saturday to Groggers Bar & Grille for a report of a burglary, said Town of Poughkeepsie Police Capt. Kevin Faber.

Police found that someone had broken into the business sometime during the early morning hours of the same say, Faber said. He declined to reveal what was taken.

Within a few hours of the report, responding patrol officers identified and arrested Maritini, a former employee, Faber said.

He is being held at the Dutchess County Jail on $20,000 cash/$40,000 bail and is scheduled to appear in court on April 11.
