FISHKILL, N.Y. – A Fishkill man was charged Sunday with driving while intoxicated on Route 82.

New York State Police stopped 38-year-old Angel Rodriguez Jr. after they witnessed his vehicle failing to stay in his lane. When police spoke to him, they observed signs that he was intoxicated, police said.

After providing a breath sample containing a 0.10 percent blood alcohol content, he was charged with a felony after troopers discovered he had previously been convicted of a DWI charge in 2012, police said.

Rodriguez will appear in East Fishkill Town Court on Wednesday.
