POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. – Wadie Masarweh, a resident of Poughkeepsie, died Sunday, July 10. She was 74.

Born Jan.1, 1942, in Alhuson, Jordana, she was the daughter of the late Mousa and the late Namim (Jweinat) Nesheiwat.

On Oct.10, 1948, in Jordan, she married Hanna Jack Masarweh.

She is survived by four daughters, Muneera Masarweh of Tennessee, Mageda Masarweh (Moneer) of Tennessee, Maysa Masarweh (Waddy) of Tennessee and Lushana Masarweh (Hazm) of Poughkeepsie; six sons, Munther Masarweh (Muna) of Tennessee, Maher Masarweh (Abber) of Jordan, Majda Masarweh of Poughkeepsie, Monir Masarweh (Rima) of Poughkeepsie, Mazen Masarweh (Melissa) of Tennessee and Issa Masarweh of Poughkeepsie; 23 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

She was predeceased by her husband, Hanna Jack Masarweh.
