POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. — Michael R. Jessup, 52, of Poughkeepsie, died Sunday, Oct. 16.
He was born July 10, 1964, in Bryan, Texas, the son of the late Richard W. and the late Felipa (Valdez) Jessup Gallo.
He was employed by Marco Manufacturing in Poughkeepsie as a machine operator. He was a member of the Lagrange Historical Society. He was an avid Beatles fan. He had a big love for music and was a lifelong musician. He also was a certified EMT since 1991.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia A. (Wallace) Jessup; sister, Theresa Detwiler-Jessup; step-daughters, Jamie Landsman and her husband Ian, Tiffany Jones and her husband Ryshadd; and grandchildren, Tyler, Max, Mia Landsman, Layla, and Desmond Jones.
Calling hours will be from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday at the Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home Inc., 371 Hooker Ave., Poughkeepsie. A Mass of Christian burial will be conducted at 10 a.m. Thursday at Holy Trinity Church, 775 Main St., Poughkeepsie. Burial will follow at St. Peters Cemetery in Poughkeepsie.
