POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. – Jean W. Castle, of Poughkeepsie, died June 29 at The Quaker Hill Manor in Hyde Park. She was 85.
She was born April 27, 1931, in Poughkeepsie, to Kenneth and Mary (nee Service) Walters, graduating from Poughkeepsie High School and working at IBM, the Pawling Central School District and for attorney John Reed.
Castle was predeceased by her parents; sister Barbara Fraleigh; and nephew Lee Fraleigh.
She is survived by two sons, Scott and his wife Holly of Suffern and Wayne and his wife Pamela of Holmes; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and niece Sue Hoffman.
Graveside services were Friday at the Union Cemetery of Lloyd.
