POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. -- Issa Kawaksheh, a resident of Poughkeepsie, died Sunday, June 12. She was 67.
Born May 1, 1949, in Jordan, he was the son of the late Ibrahim and the late Mary (Saegh) Kawaksheh.
He was employed by Westchester County for the B Lines System.
He is survived by his wife, Haya (Nimri) Kawaksheh; daughter and son in-law, MaryAnn and Naseem Bisharat of Alabama; two sons and daughters-in-law, Ibrahim and Denise Kawaksheh of Pleasant Valley and Mike and Safa Kawaksheh of Poughkeepsie; three sisters, Wedad Kawaksheh, Suad Azeizat and Jamila Tashman; and grandchildren Sara, Selena, Jordan, Elias and Eyon.
He was also predeceased by his brother, Jerry Kawaksheh.
