Franklin Troiso, 73, Former Wappingers Falls Resident

WAPPINGERS FALLS, N.Y. – Franklin Troiso, a resident of Rutland, Mass., since 2013, and formerly of Wappingers Falls, died Monday, June 20. He was 73.

Born in Brooklyn on June 11, 1943, he was the son of Frank and Grace Troiso. He served in the U.S. Navy. He was employed as a communications manager for Solomon Brothers in Manhattan for 25 years and then by the U.S. Postal Service for 20 years, retiring in 2011. He was a parishioner of St. Patrick’s Church in Rutland and St. Columba Church in Hopewell Junction. He enjoyed gardening and watching the Mets. 

On Nov. 24, 1968, he married Debbie Pullara.

He is survived by his wife, his sons and their wives, Frank and Josephine Troiso of Stormville, and Chris and Danielle Troiso of Rutland, Mass.; his grandchildren, Ava, Alex, Brianna and Marc; and his brother and sister-in-law, Ray and Sara Troiso of Commack.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. 

The Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Friday at 10 a.m. at St. Columba Church, 835 Route 82, Hopewell Junction, followed by military honors.
