WAPPINGER FALLS, N.Y. -- Frank Taylor, a Wappingers Falls resident, died Nov. 26 at home. He was 87.
He was born Nov. 17, 1928, in the Bronx, to Frank and Ann Spears Taylor. On July 26, 1953, he married his wife, Christina Veronica Taylor, at Our Lady of Solace Church in the Bronx.
Taylor was a retired New York City firefighter.
He is predeceased by his wife of 61 years.
Taylor is survived by his daughters, Mariann Jackson and her husband Gerald and their children, Kathryn Ilardi and her husband Sal Ilardi, Kelly Jackson, and Gerald Jackson III and his wife Lauren Jackson, and his son, Joseph Taylor and his daughters, Lauren, Stephanie and Jessica of Carmel.
Friends may call from 4-7 p.m. Friday at the Delehanty Funeral Home, 64 E. Main St., Wappingers Falls. Services will be during the visitation at 6:30 p.m. Entombment will be at Fishkill Rural Cemetery Mausoleum at the convenience of the family.
