POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. – Corradina Petito, of Poughkeepsie, died on Saturday, Dec. 19, at The Pines At Poughkeepsie. She was 91.
Petito was born Feb. 14, 1924, in Sicily, to Joseph and Antoinette (nee Pomorosso) Scardaci.
She worked as a secretary for Cervone Insurance Company in Poughkeepsie and as the legal secretary for Lloyd Rosenthal and Judge Raymond Baratta.
She is survived by her husband, Joseph, son, Bruce and his wife, Suzanne; daughters Joanne McCarron and her husband, Robert of Holden, Mass., and Carol McKeown and her husband Douglas of Geneseo, five grandchildren, three great grandchildren and a brother Salvatore Scardaci and several nieces and nephews.
Petito was predeceased by her sister Millie Germano.
Visiting hours will be on Tuesday, Dec. 22, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home Inc., 371 Hooker Ave., in Poughkeepsie.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 23, at Holy Trinity Church, 775 Main St., in Poughkeepsie.
Interment will follow at St. Peter's Cemetery in Poughkeepsie.
