WAPPINGERS FALLS, N.Y. -- Brian Patrick Scott, a resident of Cape Canaveral, Fla., formerly of Wappingers Falls, died Thursday, May 5. He was 28.
Born Nov.18, 1987, in Poughkeepsie, he was the son of Kathleen Liston-Scott and the late Frank Scott Jr.
He graduated from Roy C. Ketcham High School in 2005. He also served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 2008-10.
He is survived by his mother, Kathleen Liston-Scott of Wappingers Falls; his brothers, Sean and Michael Scott of Wappingers Falls; his grandparents, Patricia and Sol Feivish of Hopewell Junction and Rosemary Anderson of Florida; his girlfriend, Jessica Caradonna of Marlboro; and several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, May 10, from 4-8 p.m. at the Straub, Catalano & Halvey Funeral Home, 55 E. Main St., Wappingers Falls. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, May 11, at 10 a.m. at St. Mary’s Church, 11 Clinton St., Wappingers Falls.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in his name to the Council on Addiction, Prevention & Education of Dutchess County Inc.
