Anthony P. Perrotta Jr., 86, Of Poughkeepsie

POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. – Anthony Peter Perrotta Jr., a resident of Poughkeepsie, died Monday, July 25. He was 86.

He was born in Poughkeepsie to Susie (Francese) and Anthony Perrotta Sr.

He married Jacquemae (Jackie) Tucker while stationed in Hawaii serving in the Air Force during the Korean War era. 

He was a lifetime member of the Italian Center and Elks Lodge 275, and worshiped at Holy Trinity Church in Poughkeepsie.

He worked early in life with Thom McAn shoes and spent his career with IBM Flight Operations. He was a past commander of Lafayette Post 37 of the American Legion and a past county commander of the Dutchess County American Legion.

He is survived by his wife, Jackie; his son, Anthony III and wife Phyllis; daughter, Pam and husband Alan Dimisko; and his son, Billy; grandchildren, Andrew, Laurie, Steven, and Nicole; half-sisters, Wanda Lee, Jackie, Donna, and Pauline.

He was predeceased his brother, Salvino.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, July 29, at 10 a.m., at Holy Trinity Church in Poughkeepsie followed by burial in St. Peter's Cemetery in Poughkeepsie.
