POUGHQUAG, N.Y. -- Ann M. Macrillo, of Poughquag, died on Friday, Dec. 18. She was 54.
Macrillo was a Cub Scout den mother and a tutor for the Arlington School District. She was a board member of Autism Directory Services and helped organize several local walks for autism. Macrillo also was a resource and advocate for parents of children with special needs.
Macrillo also helped organize the initial and several subsequent reunions of her high school class, the John Jay High School Class of 1979.
Ann is survived by her husband Christopher; son Alan; mother Margaret (Filipovich) Lewandowski, sister Barbara Lewandowski; brothers William Lewandowski and wife Jacqueline, John Lewandowski and wife Barbara and James Lewandowski; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her father William Lewandowski.
Friends may call on Tuesday Dec. 22, from 4-8 p.m. at Robert H. Auchmoody Funeral Home, 1028 Main St., Fishkill. A mass will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 23, at 10 a.m. at St. Mary, Mother of The Church. Entombment will follow at Fishkill Rural Cemetery.
