Reward Offered In Investigation Of Multiple Poughkeepsie Bank Robberies

New York State Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $2,500 for information that will lead to the arrest and conviction of the man responsible for multiple bank robberies in the City of Beacon Police Department, the Town of Poughkeepsie and the City of Poughkeepsie/

The robberies began on Dec. 11, when a man described as a light-skinned black male entered the Hudson Valley Federal Credit Union in Beacon and passed a note to the teller demanding cash. On Dec. 21, a person described as a light-skinned black male entered the M&T bank in the City of Poughkeepsie and passed a note demanding cash. On Jan. 2, a light-skinned black male entered the TEG Credit Union in the Town of Poughkeepsie and passed a note to a teller demanding cash. In all three robberies, the suspect was described as a light-skinned black male, approximately six feet tall with a medium build.

Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to call the New York State Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-866-313-TIPS (8477) immediately. Callers can remain anonymous. There is no caller ID on the New York State Crime Stoppers hotline phones. Rewards are paid in cash.
