DUTCHESS COUNTY, N.Y. - With the Powerball jackpot climbing to the $900 million-dollar mark as Saturday night's drawing nears, Daily Voice is wondering what you might do with that kind of cash.
What would you do if you won the record Powerball jackpot?
Go on a long vacation
Buy a new house — or two
Buy a new car — or two
Start a business
Give it all away
Keep it a secret
It's too much money to even consider
Be sure to weigh in now in our poll.
The drawing will be held at 10:59 p.m. Saturday night.
Todd Mancuso, 37, of Newburgh, told Daily Voice: "I'd pay off all the bills, hook up the family, and take a vacation. I'd donate a bunch to charity... then see where that leaves me. I might add some expensive baseball cards to my collection."
Westchester Tobacco and Stationery, on Main Street in Ossining, said it had a steady stream of customers buying Powerball tickets on Friday.
"Everyone wants a piece of the action," owner Tracy Salciccia, a Cortlandt resident, said.
