Lane Closures On Route 55 in Poughkeepsie Expected To Cause Delays

POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. — Delays on Route 55 should be expected and prepared for on Route 55 this week, according to reports.

Construction scheduled on Route 55 in Poughkeepsie from Monday, May 2 through Friday, May 6 between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. is expected to cause delays.

Lane closures for the purposes of construction are scheduled to take place on Monday, May 2 through Friday, May 6 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Route 55 westbound, between Burnett Boulevard and Taft Avenue in the Town of Poughkeepsie.

One westbound lane will remain open to traffic, according to the state Department of Transportation.
