POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. -- Oh, no. Just days after opening, the new Golden Corral in the Town of Poughkeepsie was closed over the weekend without explanation, reported 101.5 WPDH.
According to the radio station, the owner told them it was just the restaurant figuring things out during the soft opening and that the grand opening will take place at 11 a.m. Tuesday in time for Valentine's Day.
During the time it was closed, store employees and the owner worked with corporate reps to smooth out the kinks and provide a little more training for employees, the radio station reported.
Online rumors had been that the restaurant kept running out of food, but the owner said not so, they just needed to "figure it all out," said 101.5.
