Former Cuomo Aide Tied To Payments From Developers

POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. -- A state report released earlier this week shows Joseph Percoco, a former top aide to Gov. Andrew Cuomo, was paid tens of thousands of dollars by two firms with links to some of the governor’s largest economic-development projects, according to the Poughkeepsie Journal.

According to the Lewisboro resident's financial disclosure form, required by law, Percoco received $70,000 and $125,000 total from CHA Consulting Inc. and COR Development, said the Poughkeepsie Journal.

The disclosure is at the heart of U.S. Attorney Preet Bharara’s investigation into the Cuomo administration’s economic-development projects, as well as Percoco’s involvement in them, added the Poughkeepsie Journal.
