Breastfeeding Center Will Open In Poughkeepsie

POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. -- Breastfeeding mothers will have a new resource in Poughkeepsie beginning Friday, according to a report on poughkeepsiejournal.com.

The new breastfeeding Support and Education Center will be in the Family Partnership Center at 29 N. Hamilton St., Poughkeepsie.

The Breastfeeding Support and Education Center will be open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Fridays in the Family Partnership Center, 29 N. Hamilton St., suite 109, with educational services and more appointments offered by phone, poughkeepsiejournal.com reported.

A board-certified lactation consultant and three certified lactation counselors will be available at the center, according to poughkeepsiejournal.com.
