Valyou, who was wounded in 2007, received the new home through the Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation, according to TWC News.

The home is specially designed to allow many of its systems -- including its heating, security and musical sound systems -- to be operated from an iPad, according to TWC News.

Valyou told TWC News that the features allow him to interact with and monitor his children and that rooms like the kitchen, bathroom and others are easily accessible.

The Stephen Siller Tower to Tunnels Foundation takes its name from Stephen Siller, who died on Sept. 11, 2001, according to TWC News.
