Wappingers Falls recently was named the Kinkiest City in New York by travel website roadsnacks.net.
The website compiled its rankings by analyzing online erotic adult toy purchases through Adam & Eve, a company that offers adult novelty items online, according to roadsnacks.net. The rankings include only those communities with populations larger than 5,000 people.
To keep the numbers fair, the website calculated the data on a per capita basis, according to roadsnacks.net.
The survey found online searches for sex-related items are at an all-time high, according to roadsnacks.net, which also reported that just over six people per 1,000 in Wappingers Falls have made recent purchases from Adam & Eve.
