So where’s the best place to slather on the toppings and indulge in the perfect weiner? Daily Voice readers picked two nominees for our DVlicious “Best in Dutchess County,” contest, each of which is being profiled this week.

Frank Talk: There's a uniqueness to the the hot dogs, according to Owner Peter Newman, a former executive chef who has owned the eatery for eight weeks (it's been around for nine years). "We use a pork blend and an assortment of toppings." He also credits the dog's popularity to their freshness and quality. "I want to give customers value, quality and freshness.."
Top This: Among the most popular specialty dogs include the Tennessee Buffalo (diced chicken with blue cheese and special sauce), the Texas Bell (a hot dog stuffed with cheese and wrapped in bacon), and the the ever requested "Chili and Cheese."
Newman who's been in the food industry his whole career, said" "This is a family-driven business, and I want to continue with that with friendly service and quality food. That's why people come here."
