BurgerFi, Poughkeepsie

What Makes It Patty Perfect: Artisan burgers made with certified Angus beef from its own ranch, where it claims its cattle roam free, munch on grass, and are treated humanely. Customer favs are the good old-fashioned cheeseburger and its veggie counterpart that can be ordered "green style," aka without the bun.

One of the current “hot” offerings is the CEO Burger, which has two patties made with wagyu brisket and topped with candied bacon-tomato jam, truffle aioli, and aged Swiss cheese. The chairs, tables, and even light fixtures are made from recycled materials and its menu focuses on the all-natural, meaning no steroids, hormones, or antibiotics.

BurgerFi is also known for its fries which it hand cuts, going through 150 to 300 pounds of spuds every day.
