Choice Films and Adam Dunn’s Aurelian Productions are in the midst of filming "Big Dogs," a new drama series based on Dunn’s futuristic crime books and are using the area as their base.
According to imdb, "Big Dogs" exists in an alternate reality of New York City where businesses are shuttered, crime is rampant, black markets thrive and NYPD detectives use taxis for undercover teams as a way to rein in the chaos.
The show stars Brett Cullen, Dennis Flanagan, and Manny Perez among others.
The crew has been filming since July in places such as the Karpeles Museum, Umbra Stages, Regal Bag Studios and Downing Park in Newburgh as well as at Touro College in Middletown. The team is also relying on a host of private homes and streets in Newburgh.
They've also shot at Bank Square Coffee, The Vault, and Beacon Bread Company in Beacon as well as at Jaymark Jewelers in Cold Spring.
And, they've been spotted dining at Stephano's Ristorante in Fishkill.
Filming will continue into November. Check out #BigDogsTV or go to @ChoiceFilms for more details.
