Lovers of television and film are gearing up for the 73rd annual Golden Globes.

Among those interested in the outcome of the award show are residents from the Hudson Valley - residents who happen to be nominated.

Among those up for awards are Scarsdale's Aaron Sorkin, who is up for the Best Screenplay - motion picture award for "Steve Jobs." Rooney Mara of Rye is up for the Best Actress in a motion picture award for her role in "Carol." And Jeffrey Tambor of Cross River who is up for the Best Actor award for his role in "Transparent."
