HRHCare Beacon has already enrolled 27 patients in the program, who join the 353 individuals that have enrolled in Peekskill since August 2017. The overall enrollment goal for both Peekskill and Beacon is 725 All of Us participants by September 2019.
“Our Hudson River Health Care community is enthusiastic and motivated to be a part of this innovative NIH research initiative and are honored to be one of six FQHCs nationally to have been chosen,” said Nancy Piper Jenks, MS, CFNP, FAANP, HRHCare Deputy PI, All of Us. “By participating in this program, our patients have the opportunity to be at the table in state-of-the-art medical research globally. It is very important to include diversity in all medical research to benefit the greater community.”
All of Us seeks to transform the relationship between medical researchers and patients, bringing them together as partners to inform the program’s directions, goals and return of research information. Participants will be able to access their own health information, summary data about the entire participant community and information about studies and findings that come from All of Us.
