Farm to Table Bistro, Fishkill
Why It's Outdoor Worthy: Farm to Table Bistro has a cozy enclosed patio adorned with flower boxes and shaded by an awning where folks can chow down on new American cuisine such as fresh burrata and heirloom tomato salad, “lobsta” rolls and seasonal veggie wraps. The menu is built on locally sourced foods from, Owner Chris O'Brien says, close to a dozen organic farms like Taliaferro’s of New Paltz and Josef Meiller’s in Pine Plains. The interior is decorated à la farmhouse chic with lobster traps, iron gates, bookcases and wine racks. A outdoor beer garden, which will be located around back, is planned for this Spring 2017 and will feature local brews.
