Holy Cow, Red Hook
The Scoop: An old-timey ambiance (here 30-plus years!) and homebaked goodness make Holy Cow a perennial favorite. Folks rave about its soft-serve ice cream as well as its Butterfinger Razzle with locally-made ice cream. Also popular: it's "Holy Cow," made with creamy vanilla slathered with peanut butter and mini peanut butter cups. Even the ice cream sandwiches are made with home-baked cookies.
Be Cool: 7270 S Broadway, 845-758-5959
