Activities include learning and educational experiences with more than 45 vendors, such as local health care providers, professionals and nonprofit organizations. Exhibitors can answer questions about organ transplants, nutrition, health plans, back pain, Alzheimer’s, senior care, podiatry, hearing, acupuncture and more.
A portion of proceeds will benefit Hudson Valley Hospice.
“We are pleased to have been selected as this year’s recipient of the Poughkeepsie Plaza Health Fair’s donation for this valuable service," said Mike Kaminski, Hudson Valley Hospice president and CEO. "We hope to bring more focus to advance care planning and the end-of-life issues being faced by our community."
The fair runs from 11 a.m.-3 p.m.
