POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. -- The Dutchess County Chamber of Commerce has scheduled a Health & Wellness Fair at the Poughkeepsie Galleria from noon - 5 p.m. on Friday, May 7.
The annual event, now in its second year, will showcase a vast range of local products and services that support health and wellbeing in the community, according to organizers.
Booths are set to line the mall's lower level, which also will be the site of an American Red Cross blood drive, entertainment and health and wellbeing demonstrations from such businesses as the Hudson Valley Dance Depot, Kwon's Martial Arts and Moriarty Physical Therapy.
Carmella, a 9-year-old miniature pony and therapy animal rescued from a farm in Pawling, also is to be on hand with the Lucky Orphans Horse Rescue.
The blood drive is scheduled from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. at center court.
