'Culinary Crawl' Samples Rhinebeck Fare

RHINEBECK, N.Y. -- Both natives and visitors can sample a variety of the food and beverage Rhinebeck has to offer, with a "culinary crawl" through the village on Sunday, Aug. 28.

Hudson Valley Food Tours also offers such tours of Poughkeepsie and Beacon, and others are in the works.

Stops on the Rhinebeck tour may include several tastings at the farmers market, local meats at Smoky Rock BBQ, a salad at Sunflower Cafe and chocolates from Krause's.

Tickets are $49 for adults and $28 for kids ages 5-12. Buy them here, or by calling 845-249-6129. Booking for each tour closes 24 in advance.

The tour runs from 1-3:30 p.m.
