Dutchess Could See Snow On Wednesday

DUTCHESS COUNTY, N.Y. -- Strong winds that included gusts up to 60 miles per hour Monday led to numerous downed trees and power outages in Dutchess.

Valentine's Day will be a seasonably cold day with the sun breaking through cloud cover and a high in the mid-30s.

Temperatures will warm up a bit Wednesday, climbing to a high around 40, but not before some spots could see a bit of snow.

According to the National Weather Service, there is a chance of some snow before 11 a.m. Wednesday, then a chance of rain and snow showers. New snow accumulation of less than a half-inch is possible.

Wednesday and Thursday will both be mostly cloudy days, with Thursday's high temperature only reaching 35.
