In a Hazardous Weather Statement issued late Sunday afternoon, the National Weather Service said that a Freezing Rain Advisory for lighting icing may be issued Monday night into Tuesday.
There is a chance of rain after noon Monday, mixing with sleet after 5 p.m. Little or no sleet accumulation expected.
Since the overnight low Monday into Tuesday will be right around the freezing mark, it remains uncertain if overnight precipitation could be in the form of freezing rain with the possibility of ice.
Temperatures will gradually warm up Tuesday, which should be a rainy day with a high temperature around 40 degrees.
