The New York State Department of Transportation issued an alert cautioning that construction activities are planned on a portion of Route 376 (Raymond Avenue) between College Avenue and Main Campus Drive - the main entrance to Vassar College - beginning on Wednesday, April 25, and continuing through Wednesday, May 9.

During construction, trucks will not be permitted to drive through that stretch of roadway, and a signed detour will be put in place diverting traffic toward Grand Avenue. A full detour for all vehicles is also planned from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on May 3.

Motorists can expect delays during the construction. There will be signage posted and flaggers present to assist with traffic.
