Magarity became the fourth coach in the program's history to reach the 100-win mark, according to release from UNH.

She then led the team to a record 10 straight wins with the Wildcats' 58-50 triumph over Hartford on Sunday, Jan. 22.

This is the program's best-ever start of the season with a 16-3 record overall and 6-0 in the America East, the release said. The Wildcats take on UMass Lowell on Wednesday.

Magarity is in her seventh season as UNH's head coach with an overall record of 101-97. She had three winning seasons in her first five years as head coach.

She led UNH to back-to-back winning seasons in 2013-14 (19-12) and 2014-15 (17-12) and is fastest to reach 100 wins at the school since Kathy Sanborn (1986-1997), according to the release.

Magarity graduated from Our Lady of Lourdes High School in Poughkeepsie in 1999. She attended Boston College briefly before transferring to Marist College, earning a bachelor's degree in communications and public relations with a minor in psychology in 2003.

Additionally, she earned an MPA in public administration in 2005 while at Marist.

As a player, Magarity served as team captain in her junior and senior seasons and led Marist women's basketball team to its first NCAA Tournament appearance in 2004. She garnered two All-MAAC Second Team selections, and was a 2004 MAAC All-Tournament Team choice, the release said.

Magarity also earned two MAAC Scholar-Athlete awards (2002, 2004) and received the James Pizzani Award for dedication and loyalty as a senior.

She played basketball one season at Boston College before transferring to Marist. While at Boston, the Eagles reached the semifinals of the preseason WNIT and advanced to the second round of the NCAA Tournament in 2000.

Prior to joining UNH, Magarity had a four-year stint at the United States Military Academy where she served as the associate head coach from 2009-10. She started at West Point in 2006-07 as an assistant coach and was elevated to the title of associate head coach in August 2009.

Magarity is a member of the Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) and is a recent 2012 graduate of the WBCA Center for Coaching Excellence seminar.

Her father, Dave Magarity, served as the head coach of the men's basketball program at Marist College from 1986 to 2004. He's currently in his 11th season as head coach of the women's basketball team at Army West Point.

Mararity lives in Nottingham, N.H. with her husband, Brendan, and their two-year old daughter, Charlotte.
