The Patriots came close to winning a second consecutive Section 1 title last fall, but fell 18-16 to New Rochelle in the championship game, closing the season at 8-2.

Tom O'Hare, entering his seventh season as Head Coach, has led the Patriots to the sectional championship game three of the last five years (winning it all in 2014), and the team has advanced at least to the semifinals in each of the last five years.

O'Hare believes this season's team has the talent to keep the Patriots among the top teams in Class AA.
