Former Dutchess HS Star Tyler Lydon Will Leave Syracuse Early For NBA Draft

Syracuse University men's basketball star and Pine Plains native Tyler Lydon will enter the 2017 NBA draft, according to multiple reports.

Lydon, who just finished his sophomore year at Syracuse, averaged 13.2 points per game and 8.6 rebounds per game. Lydon is a sharp-shooter from long distance, netting nearly 40 percent of his shots from 3-point range. 

Some experts are projecting Lydon to be taken in the first round of the Draft

At 6-foot-9, the former Pine Plains star could struggle to find a natural position in the NBA and could bounce between the small and power forward spots, NBC Sports Reported
