Enson Downs Niznik In Wappingers Falls

WAPPINGERS FALLS, N.Y. -- The Village of Wappingers Falls incumbent Trustee Jennifer Niznik was defeated in Tuesday's election by challenger Jason Enson, according to the Poughkeepsie Journal.

Niznik received 63 votes, according to Village Clerk John Karge. Enson received 97 votes, the Journal said.

In addition, 3rd ward trustee, Brian Whitten received 118 votes to defeat Yvette Walton who received 34 votes. The position did not have an incumbent, said the Poughkeepsie Journal said.

Mayor Matt Alexander was re-elected with 291 votes as well as 1st ward trustee John Chase with 33 votes. Neither faced opposition, the Journal said.
