Wappingers Falls Man Pulled Over For Driving Too Closely Charged With DWI

YORKTOWN HEIGHTS, N.Y. -- Yorktown police charged a Wappingers Falls man with driving while intoxicated at twice the legal limit after responding to an accident on Friday, Nov. 25 on Route 6, according to the Yorktown Police.

Jamil Bristow-Dolman, 22, was charged with DWI and aggravated DWI after police responded to the accident in which he had been following too closely to the vehicle in front of him, police said.

During the investigation officers determined that Bristow-Dolman was intoxicated and tests showed he had a blood alcohol level above 0.18 percent, police said.

He was released on $200 bail to a responsible party and is scheduled to appear in court on Dec. 8.
