Beacon police nabbed a Wappingers Falls man Thursday after officers uncovered marijuana and a loaded firearm from his vehicle, according to Beacon police.
Cody Telford, 24, was charged with two felony counts of criminal possession of a weapon, along with a misdemeanor charge for the marijuana and traffic citations, Detective Sgt. Jason Johnson said.
A routine traffic stop on Main Street led to the discovery of the pot and firearm, Johnson said.
Telford is being held at the Dutchess County Jail on $2,500 cash or $5,000 bond.
