Teens Involved In Wappingers Rollover Crash In Stolen Vehicle, Police Say

Two Wallkill teens are behind bars after stealing a Toyota Sequoia and then crashing it on Monday off Route 9, according to the New York State Police.

David Rodriguez and Seth Feliz, both 17, of Wallkill, were charged with criminal possession of stolen property after troopers responded to a one-car rollover crash on New Hackensack Road around 4:30 a.m., state police said.

Once on scene, troopers discovered that the vehicle was reported stolen from Wallkill, state police said.

Rodriguez and Feliz are being held at the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $2,500 cash or $5,000 bond. Their next court appearance is scheduled for Wednesday in the Town of Wappinger Court.
