Second Intentional Fire Ruled At Former Psychiatric Center In Poughkeepsie

POUGHKEEPSIE, N. Y. -- Local authorities are still investigating the Wednesday fire at the former Hudson River Psychiatric Center in Poughkeepsie after ruling that is the second intentionally set fire this past month at the abandoned facility, the Poughkeepsie Journal reports.

Fairview Fire District officials recently announced their finding of arson in the fire, and encouraged anyone with information to call detectives in the Town of Poughkeepsie Police Department at (845) 485-3670, the Poughkeepsie Journal reports.

It is the second time in a month that fire officials ruled that a fire at the abandoned facility had been intentionally set, the Poughkeepsie Journal says.
