Search Intensifies For Suspect Who Beat, Shot Poughkeepsie Resident

POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. -- Police in Poughkeepsie continue to search for the suspect behind the beating and shooting of a resident early Tuesday morning, according to the Poughkeepsie Journal.

Police responded to a call for a person shot on Innis Avenue at 2:27 a.m. and found the 43-year-old had been shot three times and beaten, according to the Poughkeepsie Journal.

The victim was taken to MidHudson Regional Hospital of Westchester Medical Center where he underwent surgery and was listed in serious condition.

Anyone with information regarding the attacked is asked to call the police at 845-451-7577, according to the Poughkeepsie Journal.
